With end of life announcements, DMTL look to find suitable alternatives and have identified viable replacements to the Murata Series types listed below of piezoelectric sounders.

With a last time order date in early 2027, many engineers have been looking to perform full approval tests on possible alternative manufacturers product. 

DMTL have been working closely with their franchised partner, Ningbo East, to identify, and successfully replace, like for like alternatives to the end of life Murata sounders.

Applications include Marine, Metering, Fire and Safety, but NINGBO EAST’s high quality levels also support more complex and challenging designs in, for example, the Medical Market. Approval to TS16949 in 2011, has also led to ‘East’s’ position now as a qualified supplier to the likes of Siemens, Delphi and Bosch.
